The Powerlifting Australia Australian Masters Championships will be held in Cairns, for the very first time, at the Tanks Arts Centre located in the idyllic surrounds of the Cairns Botanic Gardens precinct.

The competition will showcase Australia's strongest Masters (40yo+) lifters, who will be travelling from all over Australia to compete at this annual event. 100+ lifters from 48kg women to 120kg+ men will take to the platform to determine Australia's strongest and National Masters Champion honours.

An Open (14-39yo) competition will also be held alongside the Masters Championships which will showcase many local athletes.
