Learn to make the essential ingredient for homemade ginger beer, the ginger bug.
This video is the first of a series of 4 that take you through the process of making your very own ginger beer/ale using all natural yeast and carbonation.
Recipe:
Thumb sized piece of ginger, about 2 tbsp
2 tbsp sugar
2 cups water
Grate the ginger into small pieces and add into a container that will hold at least 3-4 cups of water.
Add 2 cups of water into the container, and then add the sugar.
Stir to mix the sugar into the water and cover the jar with either a tightly woven cloth or it's lid.
