I love the way that RA uses his instrument here - he does not try to push his voice into a dramatic tenor mold, ,he sings lyrically, caressing the words (so you can hear each one perfectly), and you know that he is enjoying every moment of this aria, you can hear it in his voice, the passion, the investment in the meaning of the words, the total commitment to the role, even in a studio recording...
