This 16mm silent film was made by Boeing Vertol for the AAAA Seminar, Atlanta in March 1975. It shows current (in 1975) helicopters developed for the US Miltary being put through their paces, and aspects of their development. This film, though silent, came with a typed script to be read aloud by a presenter during screening of the film. In it we see the CH-147 Chinook, the CH-47 Chinook, the BO-105 (some components of which were developed into the YUH-61), along with rare footage of the YUH-61 UTTAS. Seen are at least two of the three YUH-61 prototypes made - maybe all three. These prototypes were passed over in favor of the Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk we are so familiar with now. The UH-60 and YUH-61 are quite similar in overall appearance, as they had to be capable of being airlifted in a C130 transport aircraft and hence were very similar in form factor. Made by the Boeing Vertol Company Audio Visual Arts Photographic Section, 1974.

It is quite interesting and worth a read, with first-hand info on the development and testing of these machines.
