The world is facing an array of global threats: great power competition, looming environmental catastrophe, and a spectrum of governance challenges, that are being accelerated by the fourth industrial revolution.
On December 5, the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs hosted John Blaxland, professor at Australian National University and expert in international security, for a presentation on the nuanced relationship between Australia and the United States and the global security challenges we face.
According to Professor Blaxland, "we are facing a conundrum, the likes of which we haven't seen in generations."
The Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs is Baltimore's premier foreign policy forum. It is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to citizen education in international affairs that welcomes all who are interested in participating.
The Council channel features a list of recent programs, 2012-present, as well as a set of additional programs which illustrate the history of its discussion on foreign affairs. For more information please visit our website, [ Ссылка ].
