In today's VLOG, I explain how to protect yourself, your photographs and your equipment by automatically adding copyright information to your photos immediately at the time of capture.
The majority of websites today sanitize or strip most EXIF data from your photos during upload. When using the method discussed in this video the copyright information embedded, in most cases, will remain in tack.
Most modern camera bodies allow copyright information to be baked into the EXIF data upon image capture. In some cases, this information can be added directly through the back panel of the camera while others require your camera to be tethered to a computer and manufacturer-provided software used.
By setting up your camera to automatically add this information will not only prove ownership of a photo, if ever in question but may also help recover a lost memory card or even a stolen camera.
Stay safe, healthy and many blessings!
Thanks for all of your continued support, stay safe and stay healthy!!
