In Norse mythology, Sleipnir, Odin’s magical horse, came from Loki’s tricks. A builder was using a strong horse, Svaðilfari, to finish a wall for Asgard. To stop him, Loki turned into a mare and lured the horse away. The plan worked, but Loki later gave birth to a strange foal with eight legs. Sleipnir grew to be the fastest horse, able to travel through all realms, and became Odin’s favorite companion in adventures.
