“I am very thrilled to be bringing a band of my own back to the Blue Whale. I am particularly excited because of what a great quartet I have been lucky enough to put together. Each of these guys are brilliant musicians in their own right and I am honored to have them joining me. We will be playing a handful of songs from the great "Blue Note" tradition with tunes from the pen of composers such as Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard, Tina Brooks, Cedar Walton, and others. We will also include a few originals from myself and other members of the band as well.”
