Anticipating the Future of Science was an event hosted by UC San Diego that honored Research Corporation for Science Advancement's contributions to basic science and showcased the researchers whose early grants paved the way for larger funding, allowing them to push their scientific fields forward. The event also provided a forum to discuss innovative research for faculty and students and highlighted the integral role of philanthropy in the future of scientific discovery.
