Zepto’s app lacked clear instructions for new drivers, forcing Zepto Delivery Partners to rely on busy riders for training. Operational inefficiencies were everywhere—no place to sit, unclear access to rain gear, and no way to see earnings per delivery. Even worse, Zepto Delivery Partner app didn’t allow for order pausing either. A major gap in the system was exposed when an order wasn’t reassigned after a bike breakdown, something better tech could easily solve.
