This weeks review is of an "Elastic" nib on a Nakaya Neo Standard in Heki-tamenuri finish. It started life as a Medium/Soft 14k nib. This nib has cutouts on the sides to allow for extra flex and ink flow. The work was done by John Mottishaw of nibs.com. Leigh Reyes has a magnificent YouTube channel showing off this nib in action [ Ссылка ]
I also compare 2 other Nakaya Medium/Soft nibs with this elastic nib to show the differences between them. There is a standard unmodified one & a Stubbed version as well. Seeing these 3 versions side by side with the elastic version is a lot of fun. Remember there are so many ways to customize just this 1 nib size alone. You could do an Oblique, Cursive italic, forma italic etc.
