As promised, some irresistible F chalk that MELTS upon a gentle touch. The thing I love (and resent) about F chalk is that it’s DUSTY! Mmm 😋! It’s lovely for the visuals but deadly if you do not wear a mask while crushing. Frankly it’s hard even when you wear a mask so defo advisable to put on a mask always.
The first reading at Mass really struck me. We recounted the time when God saved His people from slavery and they ended up in the desert. They were so hungry/starving that they started to complain to Moses along the lines of why are we here? Have we been brought here to die? Gosh if we had known we would have been brought here to suffer and starve then it’s better we would not have come, we prefer to be slaves in Egypt. Some even said it was better if they were dead. 😞 💕
We all know that they had been slaves for centuries and generations had prayed and begged God to rescue them from slavery so when prayers are answered we humans still find ways to complian. We know that God did so many miracles including parting the red sea and dropping literal bread from heaven, manna, to feed them. And yet the trust in God still fades.
This teaches me that When we pray for something and we get that thing, we must be ready to face what comes with it. This escape from slavery was good but it came with a new set of challenges and tests. That as a free people they would choose to love and trust in God, in His leadership, even in terrible times. What are you praying for right now? Is it to pass exams? Is it to get married? Is it to have a baby? To get a job? Cool, but are you anticipating that the answer to that prayer is the beginning of a whole new chapter of loving God, trusting God, sacrificing a part of you for the other? Or are you expecting to get married/ have a child, get that job and everything will be effortless? Well rearrange your expectations because there is no love without sacrifice and there is no faith without surrender.
Last week a lot of people asked, well, even if the olympics opening ceremony was a mockery of the Last Supper then what is the issue? Are you so offended by passionate artists who may have other sexual preferences?
That is not the point. The Last Supper is a Holy, Sacred and Solemn moment of our Christian faith. It means something real for us. Meaning if people want to recreate it they musy do it in respect for what it represents. What offends me is not the who but the what. The display of indecency and nudity (example, someone’s testicle hanging out in the presence of a child is perverse and disgusting to me). And even if such display was acted out by Priests, Nuns or even the Pope himself I would be similarly disgusted, perhaps eve more so knowing that they undertand better the sanctity of the Last Supper.
I do not think standing up for my faith makes me anti lgbt. Just to be clear, as a practising Catholic Christian i do not subscribe to the views and beliefs of the lgbtq community. In my faith, any form of sexual activity outside of a marriage between a man and a woman, is a sin. That includes adultry, fornication, etc. I hasten to add that Jesus loves everyone (though He hates our sins) and as a follower of Christ I strive to be like Christ and to love everyone. I will never hate on anyone because their beliefs do not align with mine. That is each person’s perogative and God is the judge, not you or I. 💕💕
So if i disagree with certain views it doesnt mean i am anti anything in my humble opinion, otherwise could i also call those who disagree with my Christian faith anti-Christ? 💕💕
Ps - for those who do not like to encounter heavy topics in chalk, i relate and understand but for me, from the beginning, this channel has always been a place for me to share my creations, my long musings about random topics, and certainly insights about my faith 💕💕
Enjoy
