Today, I'm going to show you how to make chewy oatmeal cookies. Last year, I was a vegan for 4 months and had to find many new recipes that would suit my diet. The first time I made these cookies, I realized that this recipe is definitely a keeper regardless of whether I am a vegan or not. These cookies are so scrumptious and delicious that even the most picky eaters will fall in love with them. And as always, this recipe is very healthy because I used natural sources of sugar such as maple syrup and apple sauce and substituted regular flour and sugar with spelt flour and coconut palm sugar.
