Three protesters have reportedly been killed and hundreds injured in violent
clashes with riot police and special forces units in Ukraine's capital Kiev.
The clashes between police, special forces and rioters spiraled into chaos on Wednesday, the third day of confrontations, as police stormed barricades and fired stun grenades and rubber bullets in an attempt to push the protesters back.
Thousands of rioters responded by burning tires and hurling petrol bombs and
chunks of pavement at police forces.
