After being bested by the Blues just a few days ago, the Penguins were looking for redemption when St. Louis made the trip to Pittsburgh. Stefan Noesen, who recently signed a new contract with the Penguins, made his debut in black and gold. He was rewarded for his efforts with an important goal in the last minute of the 2nd period. Against the Western Conference, the Penguins have collected points in 11 of their 14 games, going 10-3-1. Pittsburgh’s 10 victories against the West are the most among Eastern Conference teams. With an assist tonight, Dominik Kahun has recorded 14 points in his last 16 games (7G-7A). Tristan Jarry was between the pipes for the Penguins tonight. He stopped all 28 shots while recording his first shutout of the season, and third of his career. This was Jarry’s first shutout since Jan. 5, 2018 at NYI.
