In the first episode of a new series on composition in our street photographs, we look at the rule of thirds. This compositional idea seems to be having a hard time on YouTube, but it's the compositional standard for the movie industry and offers a lot to the street photographer.

Jeff takes you through how we use thirds to make sense of complex scenes and to give impact to our photographs.
