This is a beautiful tree, which get small yellow flowers when in bloom. It grows to about fifteen meters in a natural habitat.
It’s fine leaves only cast a light shade, so it it does not do the ‘usual tree thing’ of killing off any surrounding plant life.
When panted in a plot, they tend to try even harder than most trees to grow straight up, so from a young age require regular tip pruning.
Out of all the bonsai I have, the Leapard Tree is the most commonly requested variety (short of a Boabab tree) amongst potential buyers whenever I sell a few off.
