In the year that marks the 30th anniversary of CEIBS’ founding, the 10th Europe Forum 2024 was held on October 22 at dual venues in Brussels and Shanghai, bringing together decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and experts from China and the EU to explore the theme of “Transformative Leadership for Challenging Times: Cultivating China-EU Business Leaders” ahead of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of EU-China diplomatic relations in 2025.

The event highlighted both challenges and opportunities for EU-China relations in a rapidly changing world, with frank discussions focusing on how best to develop effective business leadership in an uncertain global climate. Speakers included former Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Pascal Lamy, Minister of the Mission of the People's Republic of China to the European Union Zhu Jing, Secretary General of the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU Fang Dongkui, and more.
