In this talk we’ll learn about Servo, a web rendering engine written in Rust. The project was started by Mozilla in 2012, and moved to Linux Foundation in 2020. In 2023 Igalia took over the project and has been leading its evolution since then.During the presentation, we’ll review the main features of the Servo project, give an update on the latest status and discuss the long-term vision of the project, which aims to become an alternative web rendering engine in the future.
