Let's Talk Rotating Assembly Height
-Rotating Assembly Height is the measurement taken to calculate height of the piston in relation to the Engine Deck.
*The Equation is "RAH = 1/2 Stroke + Rod Length + Compression Height"
Measurements such as Rod Length and half the stroke are numbers relatively easy to find. However, "Compression Height" is a different story. This number is readily available if you know how to find it. These measurements should come on the box that the pistons came in, but don't worry. You can easily find the length by measuring the distance from the center pin to the top of the piston.
Make sure your rotating assembly height is at a proper and desired position or the results could mean catastrophic failure.
