This is one of the earlier documentaries of the last half of the 20th century detailing the story of Great Depression. It includes review of Herbert Hoover's attention (or lack thereof) to the crisis, bread lines, unemployment, the dust bowl drought in the plain states and the 1939 World's Fair.
