In this video series, we will be going over each lesson from Book 1 of Julio S. Sagreras’ method books “Las Lecciones De Guitarra.” Sagreras completed six books in total, equating to 277 lessons, along with a short book “Técnica Superior,” covering more advanced technical exercises and scales.

We will learn how to read music, learn about proper hand position, nail maintenance, the various elements of music, (timbre, pitch, melody, harmony, form, texture, dynamics, rhythm, meter, and tempo), practice methods and techniques, critical listening, and musical interpretation.

It is my hope that these video lessons provide you with the guidance you need to tackle each lesson with confidence, and that they alleviate any frustrations you may otherwise come across tackling these lessons on your own.
