As the older National Cancer Centre Singapore is reaching its capacity and limits, it has begun its move to a new and taller building which increases its capacity 4 times over. Instead of a 6-storey 2-basement building, it would be housed in a 24-floor 4-basement building with state-of-the-art design and technology.
The new building features 2 towers, with the shorter one having 19 floors and a roof garden at the rop, and the taller one having 24 floors and will be occupied by offices and laboratories at the upper floors like the older building.
Lobby A serves floors from B4 to 10, which alongside the lifts in lobby E, belong to the shorter tower. There are 3 other lobbies, namely lobbies B to D, which belong to the taller tower housing the offices of the National Cancer Centre of Singapore.
