It also stood out due to the boxy styling that gave it innovative quantities of packaging, rear passenger room being more than that in the rear-wheel-drive Ford Sierra, but in a very car that's of a similar size to your smaller Ford Escort. This type of design was comparable towards the smaller Fiat Uno, that has been launched several years before the Tipo.
