Sanjay Mishra is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema and television. He was born on 6 October 1963 in Darbhanga, Bihar, India. Sanjay Mishra was born in a middle-class family living in Darbhanga, Sakri, Narayanpur, Bihar. Mishra's father Shambhu Nath Mishra was an employee at the Press Information Bureau and both his grandparents were Indian civil servant. Sanjay Mishra has two brothers Sumit Mishra and Amit Mishra. He has a Sister Meenal Mishra.

He is married to Kiran Mishra on 28 September 2009. The couple has two daughters- Pal Mishra & Lamha Mishra.
