Hi, today I wanted to show you first black and white deck in my collection.
It was first published in 1974 as The New Tarot, this edition was reprinted in 2016 under the name Le Psycho-Tarot (by Edition de Mortagne, Quebec), as a companion deck for a book by Denise Roussel "Le Tarot Psychologique - Mirroir de Soi".
The authors of the deck are William J. Hurley and Rae Hurley and it was illustrated by John Horler. Because of that it is also called Hurley & Horler Tarot.
The Psycho Tarot is based on the concepts of Gestalt, transactionnal analysis and psychosynthesis and was created to be a psychological tool.
