I'm going to give you a few quick tips on what I'm doing to my agency and what some of my mentees in the program are doing to win clients on demand.
When you're actually winning clients you want to have a range of different touchpoints and a range of different strategies, what I call different micro flywheels running in your recruitment agency to get a constant stream of inbound leads. We start with leads. Once you map out your market and you need to define the framework of how you map that market out and you gather all of the data of all of your potential prospects within your niche, within a niche, then you need a system to reach out to all of that prime market.
You need a way to actually convert them, whether it's the targeted message on the different platforms. Once you've got that conversion method then you need a way of how you present to that client as well.
Whether that is a online presentation, whether it's a slide deck, whether it's seeing them face-to-face... The next part is obviously the selling part. That's making sure that you can have an unfair advantage in the market. I talk around with my students how to create an unfair advantage within their niche, within a niche.
An unfair advantage, some people call it a unique selling proposition. But a lot of the clients are going to be asking what do you do differently to attract candidates to help build their brand as well? So the companies that are going to work with you, how are you going to help enhance their brand to enable for you to find what I call passive candidates? And then on the four flywheel you've got systems and automation. Again, these are things that I teach in how we could accelerate the program.
But in terms of winning clients, once you get them on the phone it's all about being personable and being relatable. They need to know, like and trust you. I always come at it with an angle that I was a local entrepreneur just started up, just want a chance. We're really specific about what we do. We do things quite unique in a different way, our unfair advantage. And try your best just to be flexible to get your foot in the door. Because once you get a chance and get some terms agreed, then it's all about delivery. Then having a candidate delivery funnel in your niche market, so you've got always up-to-date quality candidates that you can send to your clients.
