Starting January 10, 2021, Route 71 will be extended to serve the waterfront via downtown Vancouver. Buses will serve two new stops near the waterfront, seven days a week. The new stops will be located along Columbia Way near Columbia Street and near Parkway Place. Route 71 also provides connections to other routes in downtown Vancouver and at 99th Street Transit Center.
