S01Ep07 - The final episode of Season Jordan is now here!
After a sandy and scorching experience in the Wadi Rum desert, we have visited the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea on the Jordanian shore.
The Dead Sea is the perfect water to float without the risk of drowning since the salinity level exceeds 33%. 423 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea is bordered by both Israel and Jordan, constituting the perfect transportation means to travel individually from one country to another. Therefore, the authorities of both countries have taken such in consideration and the passing through water by floating is not tolerated.
The Dead Sea can be experimented through multiple experiences and locations, among which we mention public beach, private beach or within a resort.
Since all of the options above were implying an entrance fee and since the public and private beach options may seem cheaper because the entrance fee is smaller, from the reviews read online, I have found out that there are many hidden taxes and additional costs within these beaches, such as towels, mud, shower and so on. We have therefore decided to benefit of 1 day pass in a Luxury Resort which had everything included (pools, towels, unlimited access to the resort, golf cars, mud, private clean beach, sunbeds etc).
After conducting a research on the available luxury resorts open to provide the customers with 1 day pass access, the winner was Movenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea, on the Jordanian side.
It was a fortunate choice since the services were comfortable, complete and, overall, amazing. This video is not sponsored and it represents our honest opinion on the facilities provided by Movenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea (5 stars) during March 2023, when we have visited it.
The prices are also available in this episode, together with the presentation of the resort, the atmosphere, the food and the beach.
