Located in the Badung Strait just off Bali, Nusa Penida is a relevantly undeveloped island with a number of popular beaches, coves, and resort areas along its coastline. As with other places in Indonesia, there is a lively diving and snorkeling community around Nusa Penida where the warm tropical waters feature abundant sea life. Many visitors also enjoy hiking around the island, which has some amazing trails that climb up to the bluffs overlooking the coves and ocean below. It’s a magical place for some photographs.
