They are often dismissed as an urban legend, but sightings in recent years of “big cats” roaming the British countryside would force even the most cynical to do a double take.
In the latest apparent evidence, former Sky Sports presenter Charlotte Jackson-Coleman has revealed video footage she captured of one of these mysterious beasts.
The presenter-turned-actress says she saw the large cat prowling near a village while she was walking her dog.
In some of the best footage of its type, the animal, which has distinctive spotted markings, is seen lurking behind a tree and staring at Jackson-Coleman and her Yorkiepoo dog, before running away as she approaches.
