Matt Chapman's diplomatic mission to Australia is going well!
Asked to give the home view of Aussie superstar Winx, Matt replied that the consensus seems to be that the mare is beating "fairly moderate horses" while acknowledging the remarkable run, durability and exciting running style of Winx and the excellent handling of an Australian national treasure by trainer Chris Waller and team.
Let's just say the trainer was not impressed with the comments, and here Matt has sought to clarify what was said while giving his own view about Winx and analysing strictly in form terms what she has achieved.
