This dress pattern is suitable as a beginner sewing project, so your can make it even if you have limited sewing skills. This dress is easy to sew, but it will take some time, because of all the shirring! I made this dress from satin fabric and I recommend light to medium weight woven fabrics. All you need is sewing machine and elastic thread and you're good to go!
