What else should I upgrade on this Squier Affinity Series Jazz Bass? A while back, I asked you all what pickups I should install, and I ended up deciding on the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound jazz bass pickups. But, I also went down the rabbit hole of other bass mods, and found a really cool control plate replacement from Awesome Musical Instruments (AMI) that allows me to flip switches to change the pickup array between normal, reverse phase, parallel, or series configurations. So I am beyond stoked to install these and see how good I can make this $200 Jazz Bass sound!
Still taking any recommendations on what else I could do to improve this bass because I love projects like this!
