Scriabin Prelude Op.11 No.22 in G Minor Piano by Alexander Scriabin is from his set of 24 preludes is marked Lento and is a beautiful piece. It has a melody in the right hand which in bar 5 a melody in the left hand emerges. In bar 13, an accelerando begins and the left hand melody becomes more prominent and reaches a climax in bars 19 and 20 which is in pianissimo. A short code brings the piece to an end. The piano music of Scriabin is said t be influenced by the Romantic era with the music of Chopin and the Second Viennese School music of the early 20th century, to create romantic works combined with some dissonance. There is also a Scriabin Prelude Op.11 No.22 tutorial (Synthesia) in G Minor video. Enjoy.
