Servings: 3-4
To Make Mashed Potatoes
Potato - 5 Nos
Water
Salt - 1 1/4 Tsp
Milk - 1/4 Cup
Fresh Cream - 1/4 Cup
Pepper - 1/4 Tsp
Garlic - 3 Cloves
Unsalted Butter - 1 Tbsp
Method:
1. Peel skin off the nicely washed potatoes.
2. Dice the potatoes evenly.
3. Take water in a saucepan and start boiling.
4. Drop in the diced potatoes and then add in some salt.
5. Boil the potatoes until they are fully cooked.
6. Strain off the water and mash the cooked potatoes through a strainer to make sure the mash is extremely fine and nice. Drop it all into a bowl.
7. For the cream mixture, take boiled milk, fresh cream, salt, pepper powder, gently pounded garlic cloves in a saucepan.
8. Mix them all and let it simmer for about 3 mins.
9. Strain the the cream mixture and keep it aside.
10. Add the melted, unsalted butter to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
11. Then add in the cream mixture and mix it all again.
12. Mashed potatoes is ready to be served, so garnish it with some unsalted, melted butter and finely chopped coriander stalks. Enjoy it as it is or with any bread/meat/salad by the side.
