The 372 had a brand new B&C. The 562 had a used Chain. Several Three tanks of fuel's worth of time on that chain. The Log was changing both in Diameter and in hardness. Not exactly sure why.
When folks watch this many WILL come to a conclusion of one vs. the other. I can tell you bar and chain being equal, they are a statistical tie in speed on that class & size Hard Maple log. The 372 has more torque and would handle larger bars and bigger wood better than the 562xp. The 562 has more chain speed and is quite a bit faster in smaller wood.....Would you come to that conclusion simply by watching this??? If so, what was your clue??
