Maria: My name is Maria, Im 20 years old and Im from Horten. I started writing my own songs when I was 16, but I never dared to put them out there since the lyrics are often very personal. In January last year I released my first song on Spotify, and it got very good response. I’m very proud of myself that I dared to release it, cuz it has been only positive.

TV host: Hello Maria Petra. You are here alone. Is that a conscious choice?
Maria: Yes,very. I become more nervous I think if I am surrounded by family and friends. I prefer being in my own zone.

TV host: Go into your own bubble and just have focus on yourself?

Maria: Yes.

Maria: I'm not used to being physically exposed. I want to become more confident on stage and get control of my nerves etc. Today Im singing my own song, called “Lonely”. I think the nerves become better by singing my own song, cuz then no one can compare me to someone else. Then I’m the one who decides whether people think it’s good or not.

Maria: It was fucking crazy. I don’t understand anything. I just have to. Hæ?

TV Host: We might as well talk down here :)

Maria: “Oh my God! Three judges turned around. Now I’m just in a cloud. Im just so happy and grateful that I was allowed to be part of this. I'm gonna live on this moment for so long.”
