The RFID sports timing tag is specifically designed for timing applications in sports events. XGSun has recently developed and manufactured a foam RFID timing tag, which demonstrates excellent performance even in challenging environments, with a read range of up to 10 meters (depending on the reader).
The tag measures 97 x 27 mm, featuring a waterproof PET surface material and optional U8/U9 chips. A double-layer foam design is incorporated, with a total thickness exceeding 2 mm, ensuring the tag maintains a distance from the athlete’s body. This minimizes interference with tag reading while enhancing waterproof capabilities. The tag is easy to use—simply peel and stick it onto the race bib.
