Don't Skip This Incredible OKANAGAN WINE REGION! 🍷🍇 | SIMILKAMEEN VALLEY, British Columbia

We are Chris and Jim (@midlifetravelbug) and we love to travel and seek out the amazing places around the globe. Our 5 kids have left the nest and we are trying to think outside the box to make our adventures happen on a tight budget.

In our very first video, we visit the Similkameen Valley Wine region in the beautiful Okanagan of British Columbia, Canada. This is in our own backyard and we are so lucky to have such an amazing wine region so close to our home.

The Similkameen Valley is one of 9 recognized appellations (Geographical Indications) in British Columbia and located just to the east and south of Keremeos and Cawston.

We took a couple of days in the later half of August, 2022 to explore the region and had a fantastic time.
