Here's a delta bluesy lick in the style of Hendrix I play a lot. To me it sounds almost like a house made of notes collapsing. Note that this is just to give you an idea. Make it your own by changing it however you want.

It's very much played free time on the video so it doesn't really make sense to transcribe as is. When you get comfortable with the simplified version, just start messing with the timing. This is the kind of blues lick that you can play very independently rhythm wise even with a steady rhythm in the background.
