The partner of a roadside recovery driver, killed while responding to a breakdown on the hard shoulder of a motorway, is calling for more protection for workers.
Steve Godbold was hit by a lorry on the M25 in September 2017. The driver was convicted of causing death by careless driving.
Steve's partner, Sam Cockerill, is campaigning for greater awareness of the dangers roadside workers face on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, the RAC, AA and Green Flag have written to Road Safety minister Jesse Norman calling for the introduction of a "slow down, move over" rule.
