Medieval Catholic village with about 53 permanent residents (2011 census). Built at an altitude of 284 meters, on a small plateau in the middle of Tinos, surrounded by stones and large spherical granite rocks of volcanic origin. It has always been, and still is, the basket weaving village from which it lives.
