Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra, in an address at a university in Pune, spoke about the controversial stance of legality in case of euthanasia in India. Speaking on the same, CJI Misra said, “Some western countries are still struggling with the issue (euthanasia), but India’s Supreme Court though struggled for some time, has finally dealt with it. Everyone has right to life but at the same time, has right to die with dignity. He or she can make a living will.”
