In this episode of Kult America, we explore Berlin’s untouched battle scars and hunt for remaining elements of the second world war, such as national eagles and swastika’s. Various locations of the city are still covered in bullet holes and damage, Including the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, The Berlin Dom, Victory Colum, Neue Wache, Zeughaus, anhalter Bunker Museum, Flank towers, and the famous Olympic stadium which has the last remaining swastika’s in Berlin. What struck me the most was that the Germans took serious effort in covering up the symbols of their past but left war scars, perhaps a smart reminded to prevent history from repeating itself.
