In this case, the best way to answer the “how do I know if my PC is hacked” question is to have a look at the Task Manager. Or the Activity Monitor, if you’re using a Mac. It shows what apps and processes are currently running on your PC… so put your detective hat on:

❗ Security software issues
If you noticed that your security tools are disabled – that's a red flag. If they’re on, but they don’t seem to work properly – another red flag.

❗Unusual activity
Your PC could have some strange things happening, and unusual activity is another answer to “how do I know if my PC has been hacked”.

❗Account issues
If you have trouble logging into your accounts or if you notice suspicious activities within them – don’t overlook it.

❗The obvious sign

Follow the steps in the video, they’re pretty much universal no matter what malware you’re dealing with. The most important thing is to run an antivirus scan (which is also a great way to determine if you’re actually hacked or not). Also remember to change all your logins, and make them all different.
