G7 leaders promised to be a united front in the fight against COVID-19, climate change and dealing with an increasingly aggressive China. But in response to a question, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau suggested that while he will fight for democracy abroad, he wouldn’t commit to helping prevent China from becoming the world's dominant power.
