CAPRACOTTA, Italy (WKRC) -- You might think that the local area had it pretty bad with the winter weather the last few weeks but our problems are nothing compared to what some folks in Italy experienced in just one day.The small village of Capracotta registered just more than 100 inches of snow in a period of only 18 hours. To put that number into context, that's more than Boston got in January and February combined. Although it's not an official record quite yet, it's expected to set the all-time mark for snowfall in 24 hours. The snowfall was so high that one person was able to climb on top of the snow and shake a neighbor's hand. That neighbor was in a second story window.Follow us on Twitter @Local12 and LIKE us on Facebook for updates!
