The train service between Johor Bahru and Woodlands Singapore is very popular as it avoids the massive traffic jams along the causeway and at the Tuas Second Link Bridge. It is almost impossible to purchase tickets on the morning trains during work days and most trains during weekends and public holidays. The tickets go on sale 30 days in advance at 8.30am and popular trains are sold out almost instantly.
