As per the latest news on Times Now, A scuffle broke out between the police and supporters of Amritpal Singh, a self-proclaimed religious leader, in Ajnala, Amritsar on Thursday. Amritpal's supporters had gathered to hold a demonstration against an FIR filed against him and his associates. The police had set up tight security measures and barricades to prevent Amritpal and his followers from reaching the police station. In response to the situation, officers from five districts were deployed to maintain law and order. Amritpal threatened to organize a rally in Ajnala and asked the government to drop the FIR against him and his associates, warning of arrest if they didn't comply.
